The almost 4-foot Harlequin Great Dane "Gibson" died of bone Cancer at age 7 on August 7th this year, in Grass Valley, California.

He spent his life as a therapy dog, trained to provide affection and comfort to people in need.
Well there is a new dog in town. Not to replace Mr. Gibson, but he could very well be the new contender for the title of World's Tallest Dog: also a Great Dane named George! Must be in the (G)enes! HA!

Both such beautiful and Great Danes! I think if Gibson was to meet George, he would be very pleased with the next big thing :)
