Usually things like this start with a debate and the classic Wikipedia look up, and that is exactly how it happened. It was so interesting to see the list of the top 40 most selling albums of all time.
Obviously the first being Michael Jacksons "Thriller" album, but did you know that Meat Loaf's "Bat out of Hell" is #3 and that Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" (big fan!) sold as many albums as the Backstreet Boys "Millennium"? Why - even The BeeGee's "Saturday Night Fever" has sold around 40 million.This list is interesting and quite surprising!
