Up Close and Personal with the Moon Tonight!

After having a lovely dinner for my parents' 35th anniversary, we decided to hit up chapters across the street so I could get my Starbucks Green Tea Latte with soy milk. There was a group of people with telescopes outside, with this one big telescope sitting there and a super nice man looking in and adjusting the lens.

I said, "Can I take a look!?" and he said of course you can! I got to see what seemed like every single crater on the moon and it was such an awesome experience. It was a group from The Royal Astronomical Society, and they said they will be out all night this week from 8 o'clock until late. So if you are in the Masonville area, you should check out Chapters and get a glimpse of the moon and stars! So lovely :)
