So no one actually works on "the day of rest" here - so if you find you've been in recent attendance to Superbored Sundays - I suggest taking a nice walk at a nearby park or marsh. There are a lot of government funded gardens like the botanical garden here near Stavanger called "Arboret". You can check out this "collection of trees" at
www.rogalandarboret.no. I got extremely excited to find the Canadian trail of trees. They had maples! (eye-maple candy enjoyment on left)

Even if you take a visit to meet the ducks! You don't have to be a plant lover to enjoy this journey. They had this big rock that you could jump out to get in on the duck action. *quack!*
